Marthin Mephtes close up behind the scenes

A commission for Melandrhild of her husband Gaeva82's character Marthin Mephtes.

Here is a thumbnail sketch that I normally do first. I send some of artworks like this to clients for approval before drawing right ahead on a large paper.

After the rough thumbnail sketch is approved I proceed on to the tight lines.

 Here's the flat colors.

And here is the final piece.

After the rough thumbnail sketch is approved I proceed on to the tight lines. You can see that the character and the effects are transparent. I just draw the effects, character and background on separate papers having them on different layers makes it much easier to color.

Here is a commission that I did in FurAffinity
this is the original post http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4907250/

A commission for Kishari http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kishari

After I receive an email for a certain art commission, I always give out rough sketches for sample of the layout of the piece.
Like this

After this rough sketch is approved I proceed on the tight lines.

There are times when I feel like drawing the character on a separate paper from the background.

I also send this to the commissioner as to an update for the artwork.
The commissioner can comment and add suggestions.

If everything is okay I go on putting  flat colors.

And below is the final piece.

Shadows, hi lights and effects are added.

Angel Music

Here is an art that I did two years ago. Originally posted at Deviantart Angel Music

Here is the pencil drawing

Then using uni pin I cleaned it up.

I also drew lines for the shadow

With the help of those lines it's now easy for me to fill it in with contour shadow.

Flat colors

and here is the final piece.

Hope you guys like it :D
